1) Other Online Services
---------------------------------------
If you have already configured your computer with software from Compuserve,
you may need to make some changes to your configuration in order
to proceed with the WEBplus installation.
Compuserve users
-----------------------------
If you have installed Compuserve CIS 3.01 on your Windows 95 system, it may
be configured to automatically make Internet connections via that service. You
should disable this bug by opening Control Panel and selecting the "Internet"
icon. Under the "Connections" tab, deselect the box marked
"Connect to the Internet as needed".
Don't forget - you can contact the Customer Support hotline on
0181 969 0999 if you have any questions.
2) Using WEBplus on your LAN
-------------------------------------------------
If your personal computer is connected to a Local Area Network, you should
consult your LAN Administrator before installing this software. There are
security and performance issues which could affect both the performance of
your computer and that of others on your network which should be taken into
consideration before establishing external networking.
3) Running the Internet Explorer 3.0 Script Debugger
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The script debugger does not work under Internet Explorer 3.02.
If you have the Internet Explorer 3.0 script debugger installed,
do not upgrade to Internet Explorer 3.02 unless you first uninstall
the script debugger. If you already have Internet Explorer 3.02
installed, do not install the script debugger.
4) Upgrading on a Dual-Boot Computer
-------------------------------------------------------------
If you have a computer that dual boots Internet Explorer 2.0
on Windows 95 and Windows NT, you must upgrade both platforms
to Internet Explorer 3.02 if you upgrade either one. Otherwise,
you will see the following error message: "Shdocvw.dll could
not be found in specified path."
In the unlikely event of difficulty, please call our Support Hotline
on 0171 969 0999
